Moving the Cropping Position of TImthumb

By default, our template will use "AquaResizer" for resizing your images.

By chance you want more control over the cropping positions, use Timthumb.

To enable Timthumb go to "Theme Options > General Settings".

When Timthumb is enabled, this General Setting will work globally.

You can also define the global cropping position inside your General Settings.

Though say you want one gallery cropped "Top Right" verses global "Center".

If you're using "Shortcodes" for your Portfolios or Galleries, you can customize this.

For example:

[portfolio crop="center"]

Please note that this "crop" option will only work when Timthumb is enabled.

Your available cropping positions are:

Options Descriptions
center Thumbnails are by default cropped in the center of the image when using Timthumb.
top Choose to crop your images at the "top" - best option for Portrait style images.
top right Choose to crop your images at the "top right" when using Timthumb.
top left Choose to crop your images at the "top left" when using Timthumb.
bottom Choose to crop your images at the "bottom" when using Timthumb.
bottom right Choose to crop your images at the "bottom right" when using Timthumb.
