First and foremost, thank you for your recent purchase of one of our Themeforest (Envato Marketplace) items.

We're thrilled to have your business!

As a buyer, chances are at some point you're going to either want or require some buyer support with your purchase.

For the past 2 years, we've been using a self-hosted Vanilla Forums installation that we feel has become a bit dated.

As a result, we considered a lot of alternatives:

- We could build a new support system from ground up.
- We could install an existing support system pre-built.
- We could maintain what we have now and go forward.

Though all of these self-hosted solutions included a required need for maintenance, security and membership privacy.

This deters our ability to maintain a constant connection with our buyers, as well dedicate time towards updates and new themes.

After discussing things, we decided that what we needed most was a self-sufficient environment that required little work from us.

Unfortunately, a self-hosted environment would not include this and so we started looking into some third-party resources.

As I'm sure some of you have heard, is fairly popular amongst many of the Envato Marketplace authors for support.

We decided to test run it ourselves and after a short time discovered how convenient it is, as well, how resourceful it can be.

We also tried a few others but Ticksy was the one that stood out most and allowed us the most comfort and convenience.

  • Offers a professional environment for handling support
  • The ability to select a "Public" or "Private" ticket
  • The ability to create a public ticket but include private replies (for sensitive content included)
  • Better reliability in receiving notifications on ticket activity
  • Easier management for us (providing buyers with support)

Those are just to list a few.

So moving forward, O.W.M Consulting has decided to use Ticksy for all future support (at least for this time) for our buyers.

We do apologize for any inconveniences this may pose on some of our buyers but we felt the decision was right going forward.

It allows us to better focus on updates, future developments, buyer support and of course our soon-to-be released new themes.
